“Joy is not the absence of suffering. It is the convergence of meaning, alignment, and delight. And it is a practice.”

Why Joy?

You've done the work. So why does something still feel out of reach?

You've built a meaningful life. You care deeply. You're no stranger to therapy, reflection, growth, or asking yourself hard questions.

And still.

Maybe success keeps arriving and moving the goalposts with it. Maybe you've become extraordinarily useful to everyone around you and a little harder to find inside your own life. Maybe you're simply hungry for more — more meaning, more delight, more you.

What if joy isn't a destination, but a practice?

What is

The Practice of Joy?

A six-month Sacred Circle for coming back to what matters, what feels true, and what makes you feel most alive.

This isn't another thing to master. It's a place to practice living with more intention.
To notice what delights you.
To listen to what you want.
To make room for what hurts without allowing it to eclipse everything else.

Meaning + Alignment + Delight.

Not as an idea. As a way of living.

Joy as Compass

Follow the delight.

What lights you up is information.

Notice what delights you. Saturate your attention there. Let delight become information about what you value, what you desire, and where you want to go.

Joy + Sorrow

Both can belong here.

You don't have to wait for life to become easy before you get to feel alive.

Joy isn't the absence of suffering. The practice is expanding your capacity to hold what hurts and remain available to what is beautiful.

A Practice, Not a Destination

Return. Again and again.

There is no final arrival. Just a deeper way of living.

You will move in and out of alignment. We all do. The practice is learning to notice, and to return again and again to what feels true for you.

The Practice of Joy

The Six Pillars

A framework for a more joyful you.

01 Being on Purpose

Bare feet stepping into calm lake water, viewed from above

Volitionality, sovereignty, and authenticity. The courage to live against cultural pressure and toward your own truth.

02 Vision

Hands framing the horizon against the sky and sea

Your one wild and precious life. Clarifying what you want across every sphere, what you can control, influence, and release.

03 Delight

Close-up of yellow wildflowers in sunlight

Noticing and saturating your attention on what delights you. Interrupting the negativity bias with radical presence.

04 Desire

Hand reaching up to pick pears from a tree branch

Owning your desires and moving toward them. Reclaiming desire as a signal of aliveness, not a problem to suppress.

05 Joyful Service

Two women sitting and talking, one laughing warmly

Legacy, contribution, and the vow: "May no suffering go untransformed." Service from fullness, not martyrdom.

06 Embodiment

The culminating invitation. Empowerment, embodiment, and living as a spiritually alive, creative being.

How We'll Meet

A living circle for a more joyful you.

We gather online, but the connection is very real.

A rhythm of coming together, being witnessed, and practicing alongside other humans who are asking some of the same big questions you are.

Come from your office. Your kitchen table. Your favorite chair. Come as you are.

“I think it comes down to community and friendship. I think it comes to relationship.”

01 — Twice-Monthly Group Calls

90-minute gatherings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. These are our anchor points, a sacred space to learn, reflect, share, and be together in real time.

02 — Drop-In Office Hours

Between calls, you'll have access to drop-in office hours for more personalized support. Bring what's alive, what's stuck, or what's asking to be seen. This is your space for real-time guidance and connection.

03 — Led by What's Alive

This isn't a rigid curriculum. The circle is guided by what's alive for the group, your questions, your breakthroughs, and the six pillars that hold our container. Each month builds on the last, with intuitively chosen themes, practices, and conversations.

Hello, my loves

I made this for you.

For the human who has done so much work already. Who cares deeply. Who has built a meaningful life and still has the sense that there is more of you here to meet.

The Practice of Joy came from my own practice of asking what makes a life feel meaningful, aligned, and alive. And from years of being alongside other humans asking their own versions of those questions.

I don't believe joy requires us to transcend the hard parts of being human. Quite the opposite. I believe we can make room for sorrow and delight. Desire and service. The sacred and the beautifully ordinary.

This circle is a place to practice that together.

You don't need to arrive with answers. You don't need to become someone new.

Come as you are.

I'd love to welcome you, if it feels right.
